Rogue Perfumery Targhee Forest Eau de Parfum is a refreshing woody and mossy amber perfume full of aromatic fir and spruce trees – as soulfully invigorating as the forest itself. Named after the stunning verdant landscapes of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest located on the Montana Wyoming border, Targhee Forest balms the soul with wafts of fresh mountain valley air. You can almost see the distant meadow and the distinctive silver-green herbality of sagebrush carpeting the steep slopes. With its expansive valleys of coniferous trees, Rogue Perfumery Targhee Forest encourages those of us who spend too much time indoors to reconnect with nature, and let the primal silence of the forest give us space and time to think.
Alongside majestic trees, smaller scale verdure such as shoots, stems and ferns, as well as moist forest soil, add to the aromatic ecosystem. The dewy intimacy of the damp air is heightened by the silvery tones of oakmoss. But, just when you thought the interplay between green and grey was leading us towards a thoroughly cool fragrance, Targhee Forest’s base shifts focus towards rays of evening sun. Its golden play warms the pines and cedars into a sweet, resinous chorus of musk-like woods filling the air.
