Renier Perfumes Kisses Rain Eau de Parfum is an easy to love beauty with sweet florals cozying up to almond vanilla notes atop a powdery soft bed of balsams and woods. This enticing niche perfume opens with a velvety sweet heliotrope note offset with uplifting bergamot and cardamom. What sets this classic combination apart is its delicate ethereal airiness. Kisses Rain feels less like a fragrance and more like a soft haze on the skin. A transparent milken cloak reveals itself in the heart note, accentuating heliotrope’s almondy facets into fully rounded nut territory. The voluptuous heart is an appetizingly sweet gourmand in which the creamy almond is accompanied by a smooth coffee note. Coffee’s brooding seriousness is saved from the melancholic excesses of a lovelorn romantic poet by the oud accords which, apart from being joyously luxurious, impart a satisfying depth to the aroma. The dry down reveals its subtly intoxicating imprint by combining the strength of Atlas cedar and precious agarwood to contrast the floral and gourmand accords. The scent slowly tapers off with the tender sweetness of vanilla, Cuban tolu balsam and musks, like the beautiful lingering memory of a parting lover’s kisses.
