Renier Perfumes Cacique Extrait de Parfum is a powerful oud patchouli blend guarding over the natural, earthy facets of vetiver and orris. Cacique is a niche perfume that states its presence with confidence: labdanum, juniper berry, pink pepper and neroli are laid out like exotic offerings. The tension between the spiced opening and the luxuriously earthy heart of patchouli and refined Indian oud radiates charismatic masculinity in this otherwise unisex niche perfume.

Cacique is a complex balancing act, in which would-be conflicting elements are masterfully kept in line. Deep toned vetiver has an oriental grassiness and precious orris root has a slightly soillike quality which anchors the scent on self-assured ground. Cacique is fundamentally a woody fragrance but a very unusual one. During drydown incense is accompanied by softer Cambodian oud, which reveals its mellower, musky vanilla tones – a rich, relaxed and slightly sweet end to this epic olfactory potion.

Cacique is a masculine Extrait de Parfum blend meaning it is the highest quality form of perfume on the market, marked by superior intensity and longevity of fragrance. The scent was created by respected perfumer Christian Carbonnel (Xerjoff, Zoologist Perfumes, Kajal, Masque Milano) and forms part of Renier’s premium Taino collection, an homage to the pre-Columbian inhabitants of the Carribean region. Named after the warrior leaders of the Cuban Taino Indians, Cacique conveys a sense of power designed for a specific audience.
