Quartana Parfums Soleil Invisible (Eau de Parfum) is the eternal sunshine of the soul in a perfume bottle. Abstract, dreamlike, full of warming positive feelings. A fragrance that recalls the happiest memories of the childhood, putting a special focus on the surrounding sunshine.

In Quartana Parfums Soleil Invisible, the typical fragrance pyramid is inverted, which is a surprising feat in itself. Generally, brightness sparkles out of the perfume’s top notes: citruses, aldehydes, flowers flooding the nose with an exciting dopamine hit. Then the heart notes start to pulse towards a warm perfume base, and come together into a coherent whole.

This is not the case with Soleil Invisible: the first impression is entirely a base accord, peppered with tangerine hints of what is to come. Smoky notes softened with mossy earth. Tarry vetiver, sweet-smoky guiacwood and earthy musk take the lead in the first act.

As the smoke is slowly blown away by a soft breeze, the feeling that something bright is beginning to rise, with the glowing citruses still in the distance. The misty, evaporating rays of the sunrise appera almost imperceptibly on the night sky, enveloping the sky with a subtle lightness. The floral, almost biting notes of rose pepper, rose, vanilla and citrus evoke the beauty of the dawn, while sparkles of mandarin occasionally flashes into the senses. The sunrise slowly fades the memories of the night into vanilla shadows. The sun never arrives at its southern peak or shadows the trees and the land, instead drifting peacefully in the air.

Quartana Parfums Soleil Invisible’s drydown is an extremely memorable, hard-to-describe scent full of warm brightness. A fragrance of the sun in every sense, wrapped in a cloud of soothing smoky notes that take away all the aggressive power of the sun. Soleil Invisible vividly shows that the sun always rises because it always has to rise. It just sometimes takes a little while.
