Quartana Parfums Bloodflower – Lunar Floral Edition (Eau de Parfum) where an aromatic anisé liquor stirs a metallic blood accord into a frenzy of nocturnal delight. Bloodflower is part of Quartana’s Les Potions Fatales perfume collection, based on the concept of poisonous flowers.

Quartana Bloodflower perfume opens with an intoxicating effect, like when a vampire finds a bottle of anise liqueur and smashes it to smithereens. Black Sambuca tempers the fragrant body wrapped in a flickering burgundy haze. The metallic blood chord blends beautifully with Bulgarian rose, driving wrought iron petals and fiery thorns. At the base of the perfume, golden amber and patchouli ignite this compulsively sharp thrill and heat it further. At certain moments it really does smell poisonous, almost overheating on the skin.
