Perfume Sucks WEALTH 4181 (Eau de Parfum) was nominated for the Best Perfume Prize at the Art And Olfaction Awards in 2024 in Los Angeles.

Perfume Sucks WEALTH 4181 is a modern conceptual perfume that explores what money smells like and envelops the wearer in the rich scent of Swiss Francs. To create the perfume, the sometimes rebellious perfumer Andreas Wilhelm created a Headspace analysis of freshly printed Swiss Franc banknotes and immediately filled the perfume’s opening with it.

The money is joined by the cold earthiness of orris root and mimosa, its tanginess is fading as it reaches the heart of the perfume, to give space to the modern and very cool pairing of musk and heliotrope. The orris root follows the evolution of the perfume until the drydown, where the musky base is joined by a soft sandalwood. At the end of the drydown, the perfume asks the question: how much is your soul worth?

Perfume Sucks WEALTH 4181 is part of the perfume house’s Conspiracy collection, which focuses on real issues facing society around the world. Andreas Wilhelm believes that the biggest conspiracies are hiding right in front of our eyes and he wants to use his perfumes to draw the attention of his wearers to these problems. His perfumes are based on the principle of Fibonacci numbers, and the ingredients are related to each other in proportions of the golden ration.

Base notes: orris, musk, sandalwood
