Pekji Zeybek Extrait de Parfum is an aromatic fougère pulsating with hot masculinity, smooth tobacco and sweet, glowing hay. Taking its name from an expressive Aegean dance for a solo male, Zeybek is a shamelessly proud scent of uninhibited passion. It is sensual balance between herbal freshness and bodily warmth. In the opening focus sways from bergamot and lemon to an exquisite lavender absolute. This lavender-citrus-herb combo conjures a surprising cola-like aroma before it veers into the ambient sweet heat of an Antolian country fair. Aromas of muscular horse and leather blend with tobacco and sweet hay to form a heart that has the animalic smoothness of a well worn saddle.

Pekji Zeybek has a warm, resonant masculinity that is comforting under the rough edges. Testosterone translates into the easy elegance of lithe dancers, while hay bales wreathed in tobacco scented air have a camomile golden glow. The smoothness of the composition is aided in no small part by the tonka and vetiver which form a sweet, earthy and grassy base. Zeybek is a scented landscape that celebrates herbs, tobacco, hay, grass, leathers and musks of both animal and human variety – It captures the full fragrant spectrum found in a dynamic pastoral scene.
