Pekji Yes, Please Extrait de Parfum is the decadent scent of immoderate excess – where textured sugars and cotton candy dissolve into a mystical haze of incense and florals. The opening is a kaleidoscopic tangle of moreish delights: sugar with textures both fluffy and crystalline produces an intense saccharine trip. Flossy clouds of spun sugar are punctuated by the brittle-sweet edginess of condensed, caramelised droplets giving tactility and depth to the sweet top notes. The sugar punk opening is given an exotic twist with notes of rose and pear sherbet.

Pekji Yes, Please is not just an indulgence in temptations of the insulin spiking kind as the fragrance transitions from overpowering to mellow with a variety of sensations phasing in and out. Floaty woods mingle with wisps of incense, oriental spices, cognac and vanilla. These are the rounded and rich pleasures of a fantasy kasbah, where heady sensations oscillate between the instant hit of a sugar rush and the euphoric weightlessness of ether.
