Parfum D’Empire Osmanthus Interdite (Eau de Parfum) is a divine green tea perfume delicately woven around the exotic osmanthus flower. China’s emblematic flower also shows surprising notes of apricot and suede. The fruity, velvety aspects of the perfume are accentuated by a refreshing green tea accord, surrounded by rose and jasmine sambac absolutes and delicate white musk.

Parfum D’Empire Osmanthus Interdite is a floral surprise that unfolds into fruit and leather for the sages of today. In ancient Chinese philosophy, perfumes expressed the continuity of all life forms. They transformed matter into energy, mediated between heaven and earth, the visible and the invisible. The osmanthus flower embodies this ancient philosophy, which rejects the duality of body and soul: its fragrance floats between the floral, fruity and animalic aspects, as if to allow the flow of all matter.

Osmanthus Interdite, whose name pays homage to the secrets of the “Forbidden City”, opens with the distinctive aroma of Chinese green tea, which harmonises perfectly with osmanthus. The suede accord gives the perfume a velvety character, while rose oil enhances the fruity notes. This is how the fragrance can become a flavour, crossing from one sense to another to turn the skin into forbidden fruit… until you bite into it.
