Milano Fragranze Basilica Eau de Parfum is the shimmering scent of incense and candlelight adorned in aromatic freshness. What sets Basilica apart is its display of the softest, most soul assuaging incense, a paired down balsam unlike the pomp and circumstance often associated with high church celebrations. Basilica’s sumptuous side comes from a hot milk accord which feels intimate and cosy rather than triumphalist, while hints of rosemary and thyme offer a purifying whisper of Mediterranean herbs.
The peacefully pale angelic scene is further reflected in notes of dripping wax in a hushed space. Unlike the scale of a monumental basilica, this is a fragrance about a personal spirituality. A simple chapel with stone walls decorated only in the echoes of a capella singing. On the side the gentle glow of candles lit in silent hope of a reprieve from life’s pains and problems. Basilica is a delicate prayer – to heat, to heal, to uplift and embrace. To wear this intimate and heartwarming incense fragrance is to create a hallowed space around yourself which others will find simply divine.
