Miguel Matos La Piscine Extrait de Parfum is the perfumed recreation of a day spent at a swimming pool under the hot summer sun. Is it perfume? Is it olfactory art? Whatever it is, it is divisive, emotive and spellbindingly original. La Piscine is the sexy smell of chlorine and sunscreen on tanned skin, the petrichor scent of watered grass under the scorching sun, the fragrance of midsummer flowers and the feel of the soft beach towel you love to sleep on.

La Piscine was inspired by the film Swimming Pool, by the French director François Ozon. But it is also personal to Miguel. La Piscine was born from memories of a swimming pool he used to go to when he was a teenager. Those days spent at the pool with his friends were always accompanied by the smell of sensual happiness – a snapshot of a blissful day immortalized in an avant-garde olfactive arrangement.

Top notes: aldehydes, aquatic notes, chlorine
Heart notes: tuberose, coconut, jasmine, violet leaf
Base notes: marine notes, cashmeran, moss, costus, ambroxan
