Mendittorosa Sogno Reale Extrait de Parfum is a visionary perfume brimming with briny marine dreams, ozonic highs and tangy citrusses atop a delicately proportioned amber base. The niche perfume opens like a high octane palate pleaser with sour citric notes of lemon and bergamot made more mouthwatering by salty oceanics. The seafaring theme goes perfectly with a seductive, boozy rum note rendering the fragrance the olfactory equivalent of a salt rimmed summer cocktail. The untethered soul of the maritime sky is captured by breezy ozonic notes reminiscent of the electrified air before a storm.

After the storm, the scent’s sharp edges give way to sweet, earthen patchouli as it swirls protectively around gentle tuberose. Nuanced notes of animalics and amber cloak Sogno Reale’s base. The drydown resonates warmth, as a quiet dose of hyraceum blends perfectly with powdery cashmeran, like a cuddly critter warming its fur in the Mediterranean sun.

Mendittorosa Sogno Reale is an Extrait de Parfum containing 25% oil concentration, making it the most luxurious form of perfume available. The scent belongs to the house’s iconic ‘Talismans’ collection, renowned throughout the niche perfume world. This dream-like scent journey was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s quote: ‘all that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream’. Meaning ‘Real Dream’ in Italian, Sogno Reale is a balm for the soul, a talisman dreamed into existence; the unconscious mind made into extraordinary perfumed flesh.

Sogno Reale is housed in a heavy French-made glass bottle with a cap fashioned by Florentine artist Alessandro Reggioli. Fastened around the bottle by a real leather strap is a protective mandala engraved on a bronze plate. The bottle is presented in a luxurious hand-made, hand-stamped case used by Reggioli to transport his works.
