Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Py Rhum Extrait de Parfum is a warm vanilla blend steeped in rum and tonka – a luxurious yet restrained indulgence. Van Py Rhum opens with notes of comforting milk thickened with treacly melted sugar. An impressive array of vanillas sourced from throughout the tropical world takes us on a journey of exploration. Drops of rum glide on this soft bed of vanilla, adding to the sense of travel and adventure. Notes of patchouli and oud both ground the arrangement and add a caramel, cask-barrel twist to the rum. This is childhood memory mixed with Caribbean fantasy.

A delicate dose of tonka bean has dessert-like vanillic depth and richness, while a careful hint of white florals in the heart adds bright and creamy sophistication. Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Py Rhum is not a fragrance of sweet excess, rather it is a lusciously smooth and paired back delight for fans of grown-up vanilla scents that can be worn at the beach, the club and the office.
