Kitchibe’s Karesansui Fragrance Oil for Room Diffuser is inspired by the Karesansui – landscaped rock gardens at Japanese Zen temples. With the aim of expressing the magnificence of nature in a tranquil miniature garden, Karesansui are composed of gravel and rocks, instead of water and trees. The minimization and simplification of the garden’s elements maximizes the viewer’s imagination and allows for deep contemplation and self awareness.
Top notes of classic Japanese yuzu meet grapefruit and green leaf refreshment. Heart notes of lily of the valley, peony and ozone are bright, light and clean. Base notes of amber, olibanum, sandalwood and Japanese koke moss add deep green tones which sensually balance this fragrance and point strongly to the desire for harmony in traditional zen philosophy.
