Hyde is the winner of the 2019 Art & Olfaction Awards for artisan perfumery.

Hiram Green Hyde is an addictively smoky perfume with woody leather and amber tones. Deep and dry, the perfume oscillates between the rugged, outdoorsy smokiness of a campfire and the suave, peat-fuelled heat of fireside embers in a wood paneled library. Imagine reclining before a smouldering hearth on a leather chesterfield with a single malt whiskey in hand. The perfume has a smooth, incense heart thanks to the smoked spiciness of labdanum, while birch tar links this smokiness to an animalic leather note. The dry down reveals the aroma of amber vanilla, as boozy bourbon-hued warmth adds a mellow, malted elegance to the perfume. The overall effect is robust but not overpowering thanks to the honeyed richness and intimate carnal aroma of cassie flower – demonstrating how close floral sweetness can come to human warmth.

Hiram Green perfumes challenge the tenets of traditional perfumery with only 100% natural scents made from true botanicals and no synthetics. The perfumes are intense, textured and redolent in natural aromas.
