Hima Jomo Spring in Bome Eau de Parfum is the scent of fresh moss, watery iris and burgeoning blossoms with a sensually earthy base. Spring in Bome is not about the majestic white expanses typically associated with the Himalayas, rather it celebrates an intimate moment when the snow recedes and green nature returns.

The opening feels like a green, otherworldly fougere with the succulent freshness of a mossy forest after rain. Spring blossoms sprout from the greenery around resiny pine trees. The scent of burgeoning fruit comes in the form of peach blossom and white floral tuberose hints at the coming ripeness. Quiet and alive, a cool, rooty iris is tender and delicate as a budding shoot. Hima Jomo Spring in Bome is grounded in the rich, lifegiving sogginess of spring soil. Notes of underground bulb get to the true hearts of fragrant flowers. Jatamansi root unearths a sensual, animalic base in which damp soil and earthy warmth combine to reveal the mysterious subterranean source of rebirth and renewal.

When we talk about the faraway land of Tibet, what do we picture in our hearts and minds? High altitude, cold air, vast space? A little town called Bome, hidden in a lush valley, reveals another side to Tibet. In March and April, the moss that grows in the ancient forests of Bome begins to awaken, giving off a fresh and vital scent in the damp mist of the morning. In the valley, the abundant and wild bounty of nature blooms: secretive peach blossoms, swaying irises and sensual jatamansi quietly point to the grandeur of small-scale beauty.
