Hima Jomo Autumn in Lhoka Eau de Parfum is a scent of the golden harvest, where spices, incense and smoked grain reflect the warm September sun casting its spell over the Himalayas. This is a scent of air thick with incense, in which heady tendrils of smoke accompany chants offered up in autumnal celebration.

Enlivening spirits and accentuating the air of festivity, Hima Jomo Autumn in Lhoka’s glowing opening combines barley with a bran absolute to recreate the rich, malty goodness of Tibetan barley wine. A symbol of the eternal human life force, saffron offers up its sweet, metallic and earthy aroma, while notes of cedar and pine in the base exude their resiny warmth. Smelling Autumn in Lhoka you cannot but be moved by this hearty tribute to the mellow heat of bodies warmed from work and dance. This is a niche perfume that honours contentment fuelled by work and spirituality blessed by a love of nature.

In ancient maps, Tibet is depicted as a woman’s body, with Lhoka on the chest as the birthplace of Tibetan culture, known as the soul of Tibet. It is the main production centre of highland barley, the food of tibet. During the Autumn harvest celebration, people burn incense to celebrate the upcoming period of rest. The barley seeds have passed their own reincarnation and dedicated themselves to the plateau’s civilization with a humble and selfless attitude. Beautiful, cyclical nature in its purest form.
