Filippo Sorcinelli Lascia Ch’io Pianga Extrait de Parfum is an olfactory fight for freedom. The initial emotional spark of the perfume is the pentagram, which is also presented by the design of the perfume bottle: the music moves, falling like tears, scattering the desire for freedom – the perfume is inspired by Handel’s Rinaldo aria: “Let me cry”.

At the heart of the perfume, the tuberose opens a much wider path: the concept of conquering a precious gift that every person possesses and that today becomes more important than ever before. Filippo Sorcinelli wants to show his human and artistic journey through the conquest of this perfume “absolute”, moving away from the slavery of fashions, advertisements and prejudices. You only realize how important freedom is when you fail yourself.

The boarders of prejudice can only be overcome through experience, so that we can walk on a straight path in a symbolically green area illuminated by the moon: it bathes our faces in a warm and all-encompassing light.

No matter how the voice of freedom suffered, does not mean that we can always arbitrarily do whatever we want, since everything must remain within the law and values. This is the new melody that makes us aware of the limits, this breathless sigh that dissolves the entanglements of our insecurities to definitively show our vocation.

    Az illatot Händel híres áriája ihlette – tragédia és szabadságvágy, Almira-t elrabolják, van szerelem, ármány, meg minden, ami egy jó operához kell.
    Händel kasztrált férfi hangra írta az áriát, és képzeletbeli ugrással máris megérkeztünk Sorcinelli másvilágába – a nem konvencionálisba.

    Ezek után természetesen valami igazán androgün, nemtelen, ,,kiherélt ” könny- és izzadtságszagot várunk a parfümtől. Nos, ahogy az lenni szokott, a művész merít, töltekezik, és alkot. Valami egészen meglepőt. Ezzel sincs ez másként, merthogy ezt az illatot két szóval jellemezném: RAVATAL és SZEX. Semmi töketlenség.
    Virágok ( gardénia, jázmin, írisz, orgona, szegfű és tubarózsa ) vár bennünket a smaragdzöld palackban; felfújáskor a ‘ 90-es évek vibe-jával, elsöprő, minden mást kiszorító erősséggel. Ravatal feeling ( szegfűvel ), a legjobb fajtából, de nem ám úgy lineárisan, egyszerűen. Leszáradás végére lassan előtűnik a meghatározható, körülírható pusztulásszag, bomló virágok, lassan elmúló életek illata, végig megtartva a virágillat jelleget, miközben előtérbe kerülnek az animális jegyek.
    És ki mondta, hogy a ravatalszag nem lehet szexi? Merthogy ez az, melegben affajta fejeket fordítós, hazakísérős, bekéredzkedős illat, amit semmiképpen sem lehet aszexuálisnak értelmezni; ez a ,,f*ckme” kifinomult, úrinős, Maria Callas változata. Beast mode-ban tálalva.
    Ja, és mellékesen 2023 legjobb olasz niche illatának választották.
