What makes this magical niche perfume stand out is its photorealistic balancing of a smooth and balmy sweetness with the tart, crisp bite of natural flowers in all their wild glory.

Dusita La Douceur de Siam opens with a heart-stopping blend of exotic florals – rose de mai is dewy and delicately green, while frangipani (plumeria) and champaca have a rich, humid sweetness. The tropical, oozy notes of ylang ylang are tempered by the uplifting freshness of carnation. The result is a lush and juicy bouquet which takes you down paths lined with fleshy florals, the aroma of distant fruits tickling the night air.

Tying together the opulent rose-centric arrangement of the opening, Dusita La Douceur de Siam’s heart is balsamic spiced and comfortingly sweet. Heavenly notes of soft, warm cinnamon and Thai chalood bark conjure images of traditional Siamese beauties powdered in fine spices. The dry down continues its delicate oriental dance as sensual Mysore sandalwood blends with a powdery sweet vanilla absolute to form an ambery base which is restrained, harmonious and therapeutic to the soul.
