Description
Blackcliff Madagascar Man (Extrait De Parfum) is a dry vanilla perfume like you’ve never experienced before, a true aromatic mystery. A totally addictive, mysteriously masculine scent spiced with the freshness of juniper, herb-infused hay tincture, lavender, cardamom, civet, tonka and powdery, seductive musk.
The opening of the perfume is dry and green: heliotrope is dynamically enveloped in the fresh notes of juniper and an aromatic lavender. At the perfume’s spicy heart, Mexican allspice is roasted into a stunning basmati rice accord, but Blackcliff Madagascar Man never turns into a gourmand direction. Rather, it has a woody feel, with indecipherable bark tones. At the heart of the fragrance, many contradictory accords are juxtaposed, further deepening the mystery: the sensual heat of the animalic civet is enhanced by damiana. Damiana is a flower of a shrub native also to the Caribbean, which, in addition to being the base of a herbal liqueur, is also known for its aphrodisiac properties. The perfume’s drydown is softer but still powerful, thanks to the divine intertwining of cedarwood, tonka bean and musk.
