Blackcliff Look of Love Extrait de Parfum is an intensely rich and rounded gourmand perfume of Caribbean spices and resins that recreates the fuzzy feeling of loving and being loved. Epic yet totally unintimidating, Look of Love wraps the wearer in an all-embracing aura of romantic euphoria. A warm-spiced blend of ginger, cinnamon, clove and allspice is sensually arresting and connotes images of high festive indulgence, but also of nature’s precious bounty on the island of Barbados. A deep and complex molasses sweetness is redolent of treacly gingerbread. A rum note is the perfect partner to the sugarcane sweetness, connecting the sunny scents of the Caribbean with the comfort and support we get from our favourite winter indulgences.

A praline and vanilla chai accord continues the gourmand decadence, this time swirling into sophisticated territory – reminding us that despite its power, Look of Love is a refined delicacy. If Look of Love had a shape it would be orblike, evolving on the skin with a rhythmic heat that pulsates outwards in ever increasing orbits. This spherical amulet offers sensual protection as it follows its rotational path. Like true love, it grows in strength and resonance and as time goes by, drawing all into its seductive magnetic force.

Blackcliff owner and creative director, Tomlison Bynoe was inspired to create Look of Love by the fuzzy feeling we get from romantic attraction. It is his olfactive representation of the first glance which ensnares and takes no prisoners – the one which leaves us smitten and defenceless in its wake.
