Description

Blackbird Y06-S Eau de Parfum is a heady composition of jasmine, synthetic banana and oud. What makes Y06-S so appealing is that you never quite know if the scent is seriously sophisticated or jokingly playful. Or maybe it’s just both!

Top notes are characteristically white floral in tone, with a clear and contrasting electronics note to distract you from the fact that what you are truly smelling is banana. Once the zap dies down, jasmine backs up the banana and keeps the room bright and happy with moments of milky, plasticy cream. Jasmine’s richly natural indoles emerge from the plastic, taking Y06-S into beautifully classic feminine territory.
Yet the carnal florality is ever-corrupted by the banana-punk undertones. The banana custard reverie holds strong almost until the end before oud slowly reveals itself as the mastermind behind the entire composition.
This is not a novelty scent! This is not a gourmand perfume!
