Description

Blackbird Targa Eau de Parfum is an avant-garde smoky fragrance which unites a universe of charred delights into an amber hued balsamic blaze. Targa is nose-tinglingly boreal with characteristically cold incense and woods burning in the distance of a frozen, modern terrain. The fragrance harnesses earth’s primal smoke and restructures it to feel fresh and contemporary in our ever-evolving world.

Bright bergamot, green peppercorn, and Indian frankincense in the opening give Targa an unexpected lightness – the spark of a flame in scent form. Choya Loban, a much smokier derivative of frankincense, coupled with cade, and Omani frankincense, create an ancient, palatial smoke accord in the base which feels timeless and untameable. A beautiful smoky scent for the outdoorsy types.

Teak, cedarwood, and cypress give the fragrance a brisk, bracing quality, while smoky guaiacwood, leathery oud, aged oak, and smooth sandalwood strike a deeper, darker wood accord. Fleeting traces of exquisite helichrysum, Davana, and geranium enhance the fragrance with a very subtle shade of colour. Prized for millenia, the rich, nutty notes of nagarmotha entice the senses into exotic and precious terrain, revealing a softer underbelly to this proudly stoic niche perfume.
