Astrophil & Stella In Extremis (Extrait de Parfum) is a smoky, woody, leathery galbanum perfume, a level of art that transcends time and space. In the midst of darkness that dances with light, a fragrance captures the essence of a genius who challenged his time, turning contrasts and passions into eternal masterpieces.

In the opening of Astrophil & Stella In Extremis, a deep green halo of light penetrates the smoky, dark birch wood: galbanum. The soft herbal scent of chamomile and the resinous sweetness of mastic round out the fragrance profile. From the heart notes, incense smoke cuts the boundaries and give way to the nectar of osmanthus and magnolia to drip over the woody composition. The perfume’s profile is full and rounded, a true masterpiece where the chords cross the boundaries of the fragrance pyramid.

The leathery notes come to the fore and demand attention in In Extremis drydown, beating in the depths of patchouli and oud. Endlessly complex, bewilderingly obscure, yet easy to wear.
