Areej Le Dore Al Oud (Extrait de Parfum) celebrates the highest level of love for oud in the Arabic tradition. It combines the most beloved types of natural oud in a bold and harmonious way. One of the most anticipated fragrances in Areej Le Dore’s Arabian Heritage collection, Al Oud beautifully captures the essence of oud: blending ouds from different origins for a deeply meditative experience.

The opening of the fragrance unfolds with the vibrant citrus freshness of bergamot, subtly blended with the healing bitterness and earthy, hemp-like notes of Kinam. The fragrance is immediately captivating, setting the stage for the evolution of the perfume.

At the heart of the perfume, Cambodian oud takes centre stage, its rich, deep woodiness intertwined with the spicy cedar of patchouli. Despite its density, the sweetness of coumarin illuminates the darkness, lending warmth to the composition. Areej Le Dore Al Oud’s drydown is dominated by earthy and woody resinous notes, accompanied by a surprising peppery effect. A subtle hint of hay enriches the fragrance.

In Al Oud, Cambodian oud and Indian Assam oud blend beautifully, showing an impressive strength that is perfect for oud enthusiasts looking for variety. The boldly animalic character of Indian oud is tempered by the soft smokiness of tobacco.

Top notes: kinam oud resin, a hint of bergamot
Heart notes: aged Cambodian oud from Koh Kong, patchouli, natural coumarin
Base notes: Indian oud from Assam
