Amer Perfumes Mandaroud (Extrait de Parfum) is an elegant woody oud perfume with a subtle mandarin freshness seeping through. The natural oud used in Mandaroud is creamy and soft, revealing infinite depth and beauty. An oud perfume that even those who are not otherwise attracted to this rare and precious perfume ingredient will love.

The opening of Amer Mandaroud is fresh and lush, with the bitter scent of bergamot alongside mandarin, a green glow of galbanum and a depth of subtle rum drops. Entering the heart of the perfume, the fantastic quality of the oud is almost immediately palpable, elegantly rounded off with exotic osmanthus and citrusy magnolia petals. The two main components of Mandaroud, oud and mandarin, begin a fragrant competition for our attention.

As Mandaroud dries down, it becomes clear that the real star here is the oud, making way for a bed of soft sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver, made all the more indulgent by soft amber and musk. Mandaroud is an absolutely new wave perfume from Saudi Arabia, from a perfumer we will be hearing a lot more about and who shows us what the true art of Arabic perfume is all about.
