Description
Acampora Keep on Dancing Extrait de Parfum is a dark and greedy gourmand that is, above all, about the addictive energy we find in the things we love the most. Intense seduction is generated from a heady blend of chocolate, coffee absolute, tea, rum and tobacco. Sensory stimulation is softened by the smooth, gourmand notes of vanilla, while the woody tones keep the room under control. To contrast all the decadence, a dash of lime and lemon adds a light sparkle. The base brings Keep on Dancing back to the darker corners of the ballroom as tonka bean, vanilla, musk and leather tempt us into the sensual shadows. Under dimmed disco lights, the dance promises never to stop, if we just succumb to all we have smelled.
Acampora Keep on Dancing Extrait de Parfum is inspired by the song ‘Dance Dance Dance’ by Chic. The 1977 song has long been associated with New York’s most iconic club, Studio 54, where glamorous celebrities rubbed shoulders with the avant-garde art and intellectual scene. Acampora’s 54 collection is a perfumed love letter to the same 70s decadence, with its burgeoning disco scene, drugs, alcohol and rampant sex. Studio 54 has personal connections to the brand too, as Acampora founder, Bruno Acampora, was a regular at the club. Known for his elegant style and suave dancing, Bruno was even immortalised in a photo series by Andy Warhol.
