Kitchibe’s Sakura Scented Candle is the quintessential scent of Japan captured in a beautiful fragranced candle. The scented candle is inspired by hanami, the traditional Japanese custom of viewing cherry blossoms in early spring. The ephemeral beauty of the cherry blossom is mirrored in this scented candle’s delicate aroma which is based on the Oshima-sakura variety of cherry blossom – known for its particularly vivid scent.
Just as Japanese people find beauty in Sakura blossom’s transitory nature, Kitchibe’s Sakura Scented Candle is seductively elusive with top notes of ozone breeze giving way to heart notes of oshima sakura, rose and lily of the valley. Base notes of warm wood add balsamic depth to this expertly arranged perfumed candle. Perfect for creating a home scent profile which is delicate and pure, yet distinctive in character – and is particularly suited to living rooms and bedrooms.
Founded in 1808, Shiono Koryo is one of the oldest and most respected perfumeries in Japan’s deep rooted fragrance culture and has been commissioned by Kitchibe to produce unparalleled home perfumes. All candles are made from soya wax which dissolves at an extremely low temperature – preserving the delicate fragrance of the unique home scents.
