Parfum D’Empire Acqua di Scandola (Eau de Parfum) is the perfumed roar of the purely Mediterranean sea. Iodine, aromatic and mineral. Exclusively Corsican. A perfume that is as surprising as the place that inspired it: the Scandola peninsula in the west of Corsica: a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is accessible only by boat. Parfum D’Empire Acqua di Scandola is a dynamic perfume that reflects three elements: the sea, distilled into a very special algae extract, with shades as clear and salty as turquoise water. The untamed nature, interpreted by the aromatic liveliness of juniper and the spicy scent of immortelle. The velvety rocks covered with moss. As ochre yellow as warm sand or as salty, sun-kissed skin…

For Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, the founding perfumer of Parfum D’Empire, the sea is in his blood. For him, Scandola is a magical place where he always returns with his friends, who know every rock and crag of the peninsula. At any hour or season, the colours are constantly changing on land and at sea. These flashes of colour are the inspiration for the scent of Acqua di Scandola. As part of his current quest for naturalness and purity, he has managed to express the harmony of the sea without using clichéd, artificial aquatic molecules. The key to the perfume lies in a beautiful algae extract that reflects the breathtaking beauty of Scandola.
