Meo Fusciuni Viole Nere Extrait de Parfum is a fruity, powdery and woody fragrance where fresh spring violets communicate with the rich, damp soil of March. A flower hiding something deeper, Viole Nere opens like the blossom of the soul. The setting is dawn in a garden in early spring, where the first violets of the year poke their powdery buds out from the cold ground. But the name Viole Nere is misleading, it is not a black soul, but one in which the spark of life exists side by side with deeper mysteries of nature’s fluctuating cycles.

The image of the garden is both a real place and a retreat into Meo Fusciuni’s soul. A place where an emptiness is cultivated and darkness is observed. A place to nourish ourselves both inside and out. Ultimately a place where we may find comfort and sanctuary in times of need. The ideal perfume for those who understand that the darkest place can be our most illuminating source of inspiration and renewal.

A crisp cassis note in the perfume’s opening captures the freshness of those mornings while the classic floral heart of violet with iris spark elegance and an emotional lightness. Vetiver, patchouli and incense take us back to the earth, and our roots. Meo Fusciuni is an expert handler of base notes, and in Viole Nere the dewy and musty earth accord slowly dries down, transforming into a vanilla, sandalwood and musk base. An almost imperceptible touch of incense whispers that this is a perfume journey where natural elements take on a spiritual dimension.
