Olympic Orchids Olympic Rainforest Extrait de Parfum is an aromatic green fragrance abounding in balmy evergreens, lush leaves and refreshing fronds of fern. A photorealistic depiction of the American Pacific Northwest. Olympic Rainforest seems to capture in one perfume an entire ecosystem. The opening is sharp and fresh with the majesty of giant evergreens rising into the haze. Mentholated refreshment comes from thick tree sap oozing from moist bark.

Olympic Orchids Olympic Rainforest is a perfume shrouded in mist and mystery. The heart is awash in dewy green notes that paint an olfactive picture of a temperate, yet otherworldly landscape in constant verdancy. The watery flourish of myrtle trickles through the perfume, leaving everything lush and herbal in its wake. A steady flow of green sword fern depicts a sense of life rising from a damp source.

In the perfume’s base, the scale becomes smaller, more intimate, thanks to notes of waterlogged moss focussing our attention in towards our own bodies and to our place within the grand scheme of things. The earthy aromatics of mushroom remind us of the eternal cycle of growth, decay and rebirth, all rising from the wet, leafy cradle of the forest floor.

It allows us to find peace and harmony in nature’s grandeur – reminding us of the power perfume has, both for transporting us away to far-flung landscapes, and for bringing us into the beauty of the moment.
