One Day Oolong Tea Eau de Parfum is a stunning ode to the indescribable complexity of oolong. A rich and rounded fragrance between sweet and bitter, green and black, fresh and aged, this award-winning rendition of oolong perfectly captures the multifaceted experience of a classic Chinese tea ceremony.

The fact that oolong’s genre-defying taste profile falls somewhere between green and black tea is due to its varying oxidation levels (black tea being highly oxidised and green tea barely oxidised at all, retaining the leaf’s original green colour). What makes One Day Oolong Tea stand out is its recreation of the wonderfully nuanced experience of drinking the tea, thanks to hazy top notes of bitter green tea blended with darker facets of roasted barley. The breathy, fermented grain perfume heart is enlivened by sweet and grassy vetiver and honeyed tonka notes of teatime confectionaries. The fantasy conjuring of honey cakes, sweet ground rice and sugared beans thickens the air and deftly contrasts the bitterness.

In One Day Oolong Tea Eau de Parfum we’re transported to a tea ceremony – sweet treats wave between the trees of a traditional Japanese style courtyard in a tranquil Taipei alley. The scent of an intimate and secluded ritual, where sunbeams flow through papered windows and under the aged wood. The flow of hot water brews dried tea leaf into a bittersweet bloom of earthy benevolence – a sophisticated afternoon delight.

Top notes: bergamot, clary sage, oolong tea leaf
Heart notes: honey, jasmine
Base notes: vetiver, tonka bean
