Pekji Odoon Extrait de Parfum is an unwavering ode to wood in all its quintessential woodiness. The word Odoon itself is a homophone of the Turkish for wood and reflects the beauty inherent in wood without prettifying it. Trees with all their multifaceted layers are covered here – from the dry peppery notes of chopped timber to warm-toned guaiacwood, from balsamic resins and aromatic pine terpenes to the musky vanilla smoothness of sandalwood. All this veiled in the most filigree film of smoke, hinting at the nose-tingling ashiness of burnt logs.
