Imaginary Authors Falling into the Sea Eau de Parfum is a sensory splash of a niche perfume combining mouth-watering citrus fruits, tropical flowers and sunny sand. Each Imaginary Authors scent is inspired by a piece of fictitious literature and Falling into the Sea is the first volume from the autobiography of equally made-up Nica Galas. Filled with the sun-fuelled drama of first love, the book details a brief but intense summer romance she had along the Gulf of Naples.

Falling into the Sea opens like a grove full of citrus perfuming the summer air with Italian lemon and bergamot in profuse amounts. The aromatic zing offers mouthwateringly bitter-sweet refreshment against the languorous, sultry atmosphere of the Neapolitan heat. The particularly tart, vitamin-C-drenched flesh of grapefruit is dusted with a faint salt note, combining citric goodness with a salubrious seaside breeze.

To say Imaginary Authors Falling into the Sea channels beach vibes is an understatement. The ozonic air of sun bouncing off mineralic sand makes the heart note sparkle. Lychee oozes exotic charms and radiant white floral notes have tropical allure. Wafts of cleansing jasmine whisk you off to balmy, coastal paradise. Falling into the Sea is a joyous descent into an imagined dreamscape, a place where citrus, sea, sand and sky coalesce into something magical.

Synopsis: “At the age of nineteen Nica Galas published her first book, the autobiographical tome Falling into the Sea which chronicled her short and torrid love affair among the hot beaches and lemon trees in the Gulf of Naples. The breathtaking story opens with Nica and her girlfriends picking bunches of jasmine flower for boys while they cliff-jumped into the sea. An innocent first kiss erupts into an ardent summer entanglement which is cut short one moonlit night when her lover leaps into the dark abyss never to surface, leaving Nica naked on the cliffs screaming his name.”
