Dusita Erawan Eau de Parfum is an oriental green fragrance that floats between down-to-earth nature and high-end sophistication. Named after the Thai elephant god, Erawan beats a harmonious path through a verdant jungle landscape of exotic florals, grasses, herbs and woods culminating in luxurious, creamy vanilla. Neither fougere, oriental, nor gourmand, Erawan is a thoroughly unisex scent which defies classification.

Erawan opens crisp and green with fresh citrus notes of petitgrain from the bitter orange tree mellowing into a smooth, herbal heart. Delicate floralcy comes from lily of the valley and the rare liatris flower which is rich in the beautiful vanillic tones of coumarin. A glowingly sweet note of hay absolute shines like a liquid summer’s day, its sunkissed aroma melds with the earthy green grass notes of vetiver. The result is an intoxicatingly smokey and sweet tobacco facet which feels smooth, creamy and sophisticated. Erawan’s devotees also admire a shadowy chocolate note which is rich, rounded and comforting, yet gently confident – fit for a gentle elephant god.

Dusita Erawan’s tenacious and aromatic base notes ensure the perfume’s long, sensual dry-down. Cederwood’s spicy, resinous scent combines with green and earthy oakmoss, while beautifully herbal clary sage gives the scent a sweet and rounded intimacy. Like silken thread tying everything together, rare vanilla absolute notes shine in balsamic richness. Dusita Erawan Eau de Parfum is a green, haylike, tobacco-tinged gourmand-esque mystery. Dusita Erawan received the 1st prize FIFI Awards Breakthrough Fragrance of the Year in November 2018 in Moscow. Highly unusual for a niche perfume.
