Jorum Studio Athenaeum Eau de Parfum is an evocative woody scent revealing a warm backdrop of honey, herbs and sunkissed foliage. This nostalgic niche perfume is inspired by the olfactory link between dusty old volumes in an Athenaeum and the earthy scent of leaves in sun-warmed fields. The scent opens cool and damp with only a distant, hazy hint of warmth – like the fading memory of summer sun in the late autumn. Rising like the morning sun within the fragrance, an aged honey facet is thick and golden but not at all sweet. Beeswax brings the scent of Athenaeum Eau de Parfum indoors. Its resonant polished wood tones evoke the hushed, oak panelled interior of an old library. Drawing olfactive parallels between the aroma of pages in books and fallen leaves, Athenaeum links the distinctive scent of degrading pulp and ink to the papery quality of sun-kissed foliage on the ground. All this earthiness balances well with Scottish lavender to recreate the pleasantly sweet and pungent fragrance of a mulchy woodland floor.

As the scent progresses, the sun-sweetened aroma of summer shines through.
