Papillon Artisan Perfumes Bengale Rouge Eau de Parfum is a plush, amber-vanilla scent with an enthrallingly resinous drydown. Swathed in sandalwood and doused in honey, Bengale Rouge embraces with a warm, balsamic and sweetly spiced aroma. Opoponax (sweet myrrh) hides behind a soft, powdery skin scent, misted with oakmoss. The cosy glow of caramel forms a gourmand heart, while the complex, coumarin sweetness of Tonka has a velvety, vanilla-toned opulence. The scent’s dry down has become something of a legend in the niche perfume world: rich, oriental sandalwood rises warm and fuzzy on the skin and the perfume slinks into a mysterious landscape of benzoins, resins and balsams. A sensual journey of a fragrance for lovers of exotic, amber scents.

All Papillon Artisan Perfumes are inspired by aspects of creator Liz Moores’ own life. Bengal Rouge is an homage to her pet cat, or rather a reimagining of the warmth and comfort we get from embracing our furry family members. A scent with a feline natural grace and elegance, Bengale Rouge lays snug and cozy on the skin. An effusion of costly components, such as the most expensive Indian Sandalwood on the market and decadent Turkish rose, impart on this artisan perfume a sense of timeless oriental opulence.

All Papillon Artisan Perfumes are genderless and androgynous, to be worn by anyone who enjoys them. All Papillon perfumes are cruelty free and are not tested on animals.
