Papillon Artisan Perfumes Anubis Eau de Parfum is an opulent array of smokey leather, smouldering resins and spices for those who like mysterious and dark seduction. With a name inspired by the Egyptian God of the afterlife, Anubis embodies the sacred mysteries of the ancient Nile Delta. Heady blooms of precious Egyptian jasmine ripple amid rich suede notes and glow above a base of frankincense, sandalwood, and labdanum. These dense, oriental smoked wood notes infuse the perfume with the air of a pharaoh’s tomb veiled in hallowed darkness. The deep pungence of the sarcophagus is illuminated by vivid slashes of immortelle and saffron. Rich and costly pink lotus absolute offers a floral note with a twist – as its unexpectedly dark and earthy tones stoke the sense of timeless luxury.
